6 Best RedNudge Alternatives in 2026

RedNudge scores your Reddit mentions with AI and emails you a daily digest for $7 a month. If you need more matches, more platforms, faster alerts, or a different job done entirely, here are six real options with real prices.

Work Out Which Job You Actually Need Done

RedNudge does one thing: it watches Reddit for your keywords, scans every 30 minutes, and uses Claude to score each match from one to 10 for relevance. It tags posts by intent (Buy Intent, Recommendation, Complaint, Question), tracks sentiment, and sends the results as a daily email digest or into Slack. Starter is $7 a month for five keywords and 300 scored matches. Pro is $15 a month for 15 keywords and 1,000 matches. The trial runs seven days with no card.

For $7 that is a genuinely good deal, so people rarely leave because the product is bad. They leave for four other reasons.

The match caps bite. A keyword with any real volume burns through 300 matches fast, and then you are blind until the reset. Or they want platforms Reddit does not cover, because their audience also lives on Hacker News, X or LinkedIn. Or a daily digest is too slow, because by the time they read it the thread has 80 comments and nobody needs their reply. Or, and this is the big one, they signed up expecting customer research and got a notification feed.

That last group is larger than you would guess. People reach for a Reddit monitor when what they really want is to understand how an audience talks. Alerts cannot do that. They only show you what gets posted after you set the keyword up, and you have to already know the words to set it up at all.

So this list is not ranked best to worst. It is sorted by the job you are trying to do. Five of these are monitoring tools, and we say plainly which one wins in which situation. One of them (ours) is not a monitoring tool at all, and we say that plainly too.

F5Bot

F5Bot has done one job since 2017: it watches Reddit posts and comments, Hacker News and Lobsters for your keywords, then emails you within minutes. The free tier has no keyword cap and no match cap, which makes it the obvious first stop if RedNudge's 300-match limit is what is bothering you. Paid tiers add control. Silver is $9.99 a month for 20 keywords plus filtering. Gold is $49.99 a month for 200 keywords, RSS and JSON feeds, AI filtering, and Slack or Discord delivery. You choose instant alerts, batched alerts, or a daily digest.

Pricing

Free, or $9.99/mo (Silver), or $49.99/mo (Gold)

Best for

Unlimited keyword alerts on Reddit and Hacker News for nothing

Watch out for

The free tier has no filtering and no relevance scoring, so a common keyword will flood your inbox with junk RedNudge would have scored a two. There is no dashboard, no intent tagging and no sentiment. You get an email and that is the whole product.

2

KWatch.io

KWatch.io is the natural step up if your problem is that RedNudge only watches Reddit. It covers six platforms: Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. Alerts land in email, Slack or a webhook, usually inside a minute rather than once a day. It also catches LinkedIn and Facebook posts Google never indexed. The standout feature is conversation tracking: point it at one Reddit thread and it pings you on every new comment. The free plan covers two Reddit alerts and two Hacker News alerts. Essential is $19 a month for 20 Reddit keywords plus AI sentiment scoring. Business is $79 and Enterprise is $199.

Pricing

Free tier, then $19/mo (Essential), $79/mo (Business), $199/mo (Enterprise)

Best for

Near-instant alerts across six platforms instead of Reddit only

Watch out for

Essential costs almost three times RedNudge Starter, and you lose RedNudge's intent tags. Slack and webhooks sit behind the $79 tier. Sentiment scoring is thinner than a one to 10 relevance score, so expect to do more of the triage yourself.

3

Syften

Syften is the pick when your real complaint is noise. Instead of trusting an AI score, you write boolean filter rules: require two terms together, exclude a subreddit, ignore a phrase that keeps producing false matches. Entry is $19.95 a month for three filters, 100 daily results and a seven-day archive. Standard at $39.95 gets you 20 filters, 200 daily results, a one-month archive, Slack, AI filtering and API access. Pro at $99.95 gives 100 filters, 500 daily results, an unlimited archive and MCP support so you can wire it into an AI tool. Daily result limits are far more generous than RedNudge's monthly match caps.

Pricing

$19.95/mo, $39.95/mo, or $99.95/mo. Free trial, no free tier

Best for

Power users who want exact control over what triggers an alert

Watch out for

X monitoring costs an extra $40 a month and YouTube filters cost $20 a month on top of your plan, so the real bill climbs quickly. The boolean syntax takes a session or two to learn, and there is no permanent free tier.

4

Octolens

Octolens is for B2B SaaS teams who treat every mention as a possible deal. It watches Reddit, Hacker News, X, LinkedIn, GitHub and more, then uses AI to sort mentions by relevance and commercial interest. It suggests replies, routes mentions to the right teammate, and handles competitor tracking. If you liked RedNudge's Buy Intent tag and want a whole sales motion built around it, this is the closest fit on the list.

Pricing

$69/mo (Starter), $99/mo (Pro), $299/mo (Scale), $499+/mo (Enterprise). 7-day trial

Best for

B2B SaaS teams turning community mentions into pipeline

Watch out for

Starter costs almost 10 times RedNudge Starter, so it only makes sense if mentions genuinely turn into revenue. Mention caps still apply (3,000 on Starter) and extras bill per mention. It aims squarely at B2B software, so a consumer brand will get less from the AI scoring.

5

Brand24

Brand24 is the full social listening platform on this list. It goes well past Reddit: news, blogs, review sites, podcasts, X, Instagram, TikTok and more. You get sentiment analysis, share of voice, reach estimates, influencer spotting, event detection and client-ready PDF reports. Plans start at $249 a month billed monthly, or $199 if you pay annually, and run to $1,499 for Enterprise. The trial lasts 14 days with no card.

Pricing

$249/mo to $1,499/mo (roughly 20% less billed annually). 14-day free trial

Best for

Agencies who need reporting for clients, not just alerts

Watch out for

The price jump is enormous. Individual at $249 a month gets you three keywords, which is fewer than RedNudge gives you for $7. Reddit is one channel among dozens here rather than the focus, so if Reddit is all you care about you are paying for coverage you will never open.

6

PhraseMine

PhraseMine is not a monitoring tool, and we would rather say so up front than waste your time. It works in the opposite direction: it digs backward through Reddit conversations that already happened and pulls out the language your audience uses. You describe your product and your audience, no keywords needed, and PhraseMine's AI builds the search strategy itself. It runs a broad search of 15 to 25 queries, a focused search of five to 10 that drills into whatever worked, then three to five edge cases for the contrarian angles. Then it analyzes everything, comment replies included, and gives you named themes with real quotes underneath. Every excerpt carries an awareness stage (Eugene Schwartz's five stages) and a research tag: Pain, Dream, Obstacle, Trigger, Identity or Objection. Need three objections for your FAQ section? Filter for objections. It also builds a voice profile you can hand to another writer or an AI drafting tool, plus a saturation report that tells you when your research is done and where the gaps still sit.

Pricing

Free (10 credits), $29/mo (100 credits), $99/mo (400 credits), $499/mo (2,200 credits). A session costs 20 credits

Best for

Copywriters who need real customer language for a sales page, email or ad

Watch out for

This will not replace RedNudge for monitoring. There are no alerts, no digests, no Slack pings and no opportunity inbox, so nothing tells you when somebody mentions your product. It costs a lot more than $7 a month. And the free tier's 10 credits do not quite cover a full session, so you need a small top-up to finish your first one.

Questions people ask

Wanted Customer Language, Not a Digest?

If you came looking for a RedNudge alternative because you wanted to understand how your audience talks, no monitoring tool was going to get you there. PhraseMine analyzes the Reddit conversations that already happened and hands you real quotes, grouped into themes and tagged by awareness stage. Run your first session and see what your audience has been saying all along.
